Transfer from one college to another can be a tough time for a student as it involves a lot of things. Usually, the student and parents have to take a lot of factors into consideration. 

It is advisable not to do it but certain unwarranted situations cannot be accounted for. With the recent changes by the education department of Odisha, it has become a smooth task for the completion of various formalities and for transfer from one college to another.

Conditions for transfer from college

Transfer can happen just when there is an opening in an objective school or college, in the stream and the subject the candidate had selected during confirmation. 

The solicitation for the move will be engaged uniquely under extraordinary conditions, for example, shifting, retirement, guardians’ passing, or clinical reasons. 

Transfer from outside the state

Transfer cases from outside the state could be considered in the event of guardians’ move, retirement, guardians’ passing, and in cases where the prospectus matches with the CHSE schedule after the endorsement of DHSE, Odisha.

As per the rules, the understudies need not have to acquire endorsement of the legislature (advanced education division) for move affirmations and there is no compelling reason to visit workplaces of advanced education directorate or local directorate to seek their transfer.

Procedure for transfer

The Plus II understudies need to advise the Council regarding Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) and those of the degree schools need to suggest the college concerned.
