Trailer of the second season of Mirzapur is out, followed by hilarious memes

Fans who have been anticipatingly waiting for two years for the second season of Mirzapur, couldn’t be more intrigued and excited as the new season promises more action, violence, and dramatic twists in the plot.

Amazon Prime Videos dropped the trailer of the second season of the most eagerly awaited Amazon Prime Originals series Mirzapur on Tuesday, October 6.

“Today is 6/10 but we’re going to make sure your October is 10/10!” tweeted Amazon Prime video as they released the trailer that chronicles the grim reality of the city of crimes. Mirzapur.

Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Media & Entertainment, the second season of Mirzapur will premiere on October 23 on Amazon Prime Video.

Mirzapur Second Season trailer

The second season was curiously awaited by the audience after what had happened to the infamous residents of the city of Mirzapur.

Following the aftermath of the shocking finale of the first season, the new storyline dives deeper into the crooked and rustic world of guns, drugs, and nonconformists and traverses through the myriad layers of vengeance, conspiracies, romance, drama, and the formidable women’s power in Mirzapur.

The storyline of the second season will unveil through the eyes of popular characters from the first season played by Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Amit Sial, Anjum Sharma, Sheeba Chaddha, Manu Rishi Chadha and Rajesh Tailang.

The exciting trailer also features some interesting twists in the plot essayed by the new talent Vijay Varma, Priyanshu Painyuli, and Isha Talwar among others.

Mirzapur is back and so are the memes

After the trailer release of one of India’s biggest and most popular web series, the netizens went crazy, driven by utmost excitement and enthusiasm. Not only were there thousands of hundreds of re-shares of the trailer video, the members started flooding the internet with their memes loaded with creativity.

However, the Surat and Mumbai Police took advantage of the trailer drop in the most wonderful way to raise awareness about the ongoing events and safety guidelines, due to the aftermath of the pandemic.

Surat Traffic Police’s take on Munna Bhaiya and the traffic is not just hilarious, but also striking.

Taking to their social media, Gujarat’s Surat traffic Police wrote and posted,

Signal pe toh Munna Bhaiya ko bhi rukna padega.”

Dialogues of popular crime web-series have been inspiring hilarious creative online content for quite some time now. And Mumbai Police, known for its witty social media content, is known to keep up with this trend for a long time.

On Wednesday, the city police’s Twitter handle also posted Mirzapur’s Kaleen Bhaiya inspired meme related to Unlock 5.0 and restrictions, except in Mumbai Police’s version, even the deadly Kaleen Bhaiya is wearing a mask.

The creators of Mirzapur also hinted that Season 2 is going to be bigger and better compared to the first season.
