OPSC notifies vacancy for 2021: 92 assistant soil conservation officers’ posts on offer

OPSC notifies vacancy for 2021. 92 assistant soil conservation officers’ posts are vacant. The online application process for these posts will be starting on April 23 and will continue till May 31.

Bhubaneswar, April 8: OPSC notifies vacancy for 2021 and has 92 vacant posts in Odisha for assistant soil conservation officers. The online application for these posts at Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will begin from April 23.

OPSC notifies vacancy for 2021 and states the recruitment of 92 Assistant Soil Conservation Officers in Class II (Group B) of Odisha Soil Conservation Service which comes under the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department.

The online application process for these posts will be starting on April 23 and will continue till May 31.

OPSC notifies vacancy for 2021, eligibility criteria

OPSC notifies vacancy for 2021 and has 92 vacant posts in Odisha for assistant soil conservation officers.

 A candidate shall possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture or Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry or Bachelor Degree in Agriculture Engineering or Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture from any recognized Institutions or University to become eligible for the posts.  

Candidates are required to pay a non-adjustable and non-refundable fee of ₹500 only while the candidates who belong to the SC, ST, Or PH (Permanent disability of forty percent or more) are exempted from paying this examination fee.

Online payment & pay structure

Candidates have to make Online payment of the applicable Examination Fee(s) through the OPSC portal, either by Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking facilities and other financial instruments which are enlisted in the Payment Gateway/Page of the Odisha Government Treasury Portal.

 The fee(s) paid would not be refunded under any circumstances and neither can be adjusted or held in reserve for any other recruitment or examination.

The Assistant Soil Conservation Officer will be having a pay at Level-10 of the Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017, along with the pre-revised scale of pay under PB-2—₹9,300—₹34,800 with grade pay of ₹4,600 with other allowances consistently.

The selection of candidates for the recruitment to these posts would be made on the very basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Competitive Recruitment Examination (Written Test & Interview).
