Why we are celebrating International Daughter’s Day 2021
On international Daughter’s Day, we make an oath to show unconditional love to the guardian of our family trust, our beautiful, witty, creative, and sometimes, demanding daughters. It’s a day dedicated to daughters showing them affection while celebrating the occasion by sending wishes, gifts, and flowers.
History of International Daughter’s Day
You would be glad to know that International Day of Girls is an international observance day declared by the United Nations. On December 19, 2011, United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 66/170 to declare October 11 as the International Day of the Girl Child, to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges girls face around the world. The International Day of the Girl Child focuses attention on the need to address the challenges girls face and to promote girls’ empowerment and the fulfilment of their human rights.

How to celebrate International Happy Daughter’s Day 2021?
1.The father-daughter dance
The identity of a daughter, is embedded in a relation- unconditional, irreplaceable and warm, that if the father daughter. On National Daughters Day, both fathers and daughters strut their best stuff on the dance floor after a delicious dinner in a main hall. If your town has no Father-Daughter Dance, consider putting one on with a local community group. An event like this will always be a golden memory.
2. Read about admired daughters
National Daughters Day is a wonderful time to review beloved stories like “Little Women” and “The Diary of Anne Frank,” a book which gives us a chance to read the thoughts and dreams of a daughter who faced unthinkable circumstances.
3. Let her take the lead
In a gender dissected world, it feels special when women are allowed to have the final say! This international Daughter’s day reflect on how great our daughters are, consider letting yours tell you what she wants to do today. Spa day? Sounds good. Bicycling in the park? Very nice. But if your daughter just wants to have a pajama party and hang with her crew, let that be her choice. It’s her day!
- All the emotional boost in the world for the daughters
Your daughter may do more than you know. In single-parent homes, a daughter may keep the family functioning when Mom or Dad (or even Grandma or Grandpa) is at work. Lots of daughters cook, clean, and help their siblings with homework. So, this is your chance to acknowledge how helpful your daughter is with dinner and a movie, or a beach trip for her and her crew.
- No one knows her the way a mom does!
Don’t believe the hype that mothers and daughters don’t get along. This myth goes along the lines that mothers and daughters are naturally competitive, or that mothers and daughters argue because they’re too much alike. Many mothers and daughters can’t live without each other and use National Daughters Day as an excuse to hang out with your favorite girl, no matter how old she is. If there happens to be a little strife, this day is a great opportunity to work things out.
- Her first best friends are her parents
Give her an ear, she surely has tonnes of goals, dreams and aspirations. This is the day when your daughter may give you a glimpse into how she sees her future. If you listen closely, you may find out what an intelligent, empathetic, independent, level-headed daughter you raised! You don’t know, how much they need a patient and kind listener!
