The Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneshwar (IITBBS) was established in the year 2008. The Institute aims to provide high-class education in the field of Engineering and Technology. IIT Bhubaneswar has grown over the years, in achieving a position as one of the best Indian institutes in the country. The institute focuses on ringing frequent changes in the teaching style by modifying the teaching techniques. The institute believes in overall performance. The IITBBS encourages its students to take an active part in events that are from both international and national platforms. Students here are exposed to a wide variety of platforms like arts, dance, music, sports, and social welfare activities. The IIT campus is spread over in an area of 936 acres. The large college campus has all the basic facilities which are required for students. The campus is located in Argul, Odisha which is located near Brunei. The campus is surrounded by hills and dense forests which will serve as a peaceful environment for teaching and learning. The IITBBS has facilities that include a library, health care blocks, an administrative building, an academic block, gymnasium, and other amenities as well. The institute offers guest room facilities for the visitors as well. Apart from that, the campus also has a well-equipped community hall. Approved by The institute is approved by the All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
