New Delhi, March 20, 2021: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has declared the results of GATE 2021. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their GATE 2021 result using enrollment ID/ email address and password.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the result of the Graduate Aptitude Test For Engineering (GATE) 2021 ahead of its scheduled date.
The GATE 2021 results were supposed to be released on March 22 but they have been announced ahead of its schedule date on its official website.
GATE 2021 result includes the GATE scores of candidates, All India Rank, marks out of 100, qualifying marks and other basic details of candidates.
Steps to check GATE 2021 result
- Visit the official GATE website.
- Click on the GOAPS Portal link.
- Enter GATE Enrollment Id/Email Id and password.
- Click on “Submit”.
- GATE 2021 results will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the result and take a print out.
GATE 2021 was conducted as a computer-based exam for 27 subject papers on February 6, 7, 13 and 14 this year. The total count of candidates who appeared for GATE 2021 examination was 7,11,542. Of these, a total of 1,26,813 candidates qualified, i.e., about 17.82%.
The percentage of qualified candidates in individual papers varies from 8.42% to 29.54%. Out of the total qualified candidates of GATE 2021, 98,732 are male and 28,081 are female candidates, informed IIT-Bombay.
The GATE scorecard will be released on March 30 and will be available for download till June 30 only. GATE 2021 scorecard will be valid for three years. The authorities have released the final answer key of GATE 2021 on the official website on March 17. The provisional GATE answer key 2021 was released on February 26 and candidates were allowed to challenge the answer key from March 1 to 4, 2021.
Based on GATE score candidates can seek admission in MTech courses across IITs, IISc, and other colleges. Also, the GATE score is the entry gateway for PSU jobs. GATE score is valid for three years from the date of declaration.
