Debasish Panda emerges Odisha topper in JEE Main 2021 (March session)

The JEE MAIN 2021 results for the March session were announced by the NTA on Wednesday night. Debasish Panda has scored 99.959 NTA score out of 100 and has emerged the state topper in paper-1.

March 26, 2021: The results for JEE MAIN 2021 (March session) were announced by the National Testing Agency on March 25. Debasish Panda from Odisha has emerged as the state topper in the JEE MAIN 2021 exams, whose results were declared on Wednesday night.

The JEE MAIN 2021 results for the March session were announced by the NTA on Wednesday night. Debasish has scored 99.959 NTA score out of 100 and has emerged as the state topper in the paper-1.

A resident of Shree Vihar Cuttack, Debasish suggested the students who are preparing for the upcoming examinations the importance of understanding the concept and fundamentals.

Suggestions by Debasish Panda

He suggested the students need to understand the basic concepts and NCERT books will help them in this matter. “The candidates should complete the tasks in time so that they can revise the courses much before the examination,” he added.

Panda said that he was undertaking online coaching classes for the preparations of JEE MAIN Examinations.

He spoke of how he was able to save time due to online classes as he did not have to physically travel and cover a certain distance in order to attend the classes.

“Due to this online coaching, I was saving time for study instead of travelling for physical classes in school and coaching institutes. I may not appear for the next JEE Main examinations (April and May sessions),” he added.

When asked about his future ambitions, Panda said that he wants to be a scientist in the future.

He also wants to conduct research in the field of physics. “I will try to get a good rank in JEE Advanced examination and pursue my higher studies in IIT,” he added.

JEE Main Examinations

Debasish had attended the February session of the JEE Main examination and secured 99.896 NTA score. Goutam Das was the state topper during that session whose results were announced on March 8. Following the COVID-19 guidelines, the examinations were conducted in two sittings.

The official communication of the NTA said, “After February, March, April and May Session of JEE(Main)-2021 Examination, the ranks of the candidates will be released taking into consideration the best of the four NTA Scores in accordance with the policy already made available on the NTA website.”

The candidates have the choice to appear in one, two, three or four examinations for admission. The results of paper-2 (B Arch or B Planning) will be released in the next few days, said the NTA sources.
